Organic Peels

At Orchid, we specialize in organic peels treatments that give our clients the beautiful, healthy skin they deserve. But what are organic peels? In short, organic peels are a type of facial that uses natural ingredients to improve the appearance of your skin. Keep reading to learn more about organic peels and how they can benefit you.

Unlike harsh chemical peels, organic peels are gentle and leave your skin feeling soft, smooth, and healthy. Organic peels use natural ingredients to help remove the outer layer of skin. This can be beneficial for people who want to improve their complexion, get rid of blemishes, or simply have softer skin. There are a few different types of organic peels, and the ingredients and procedure will vary depending on which type is used.

One common organic peel is the alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) peel. AHAs are derived from natural sources like fruit and milk sugars. They work by breaking down the “glue” that holds the dead skin cells together. This allows the new, fresh skin cells to come to the surface.

To perform an AHA peel, the therapist will first cleanse the skin and then apply the AHA solution. The solution will be left on for a few minutes before being rinsed off. Some people may experience a mild burning sensation when the solution is applied. This is normal and should go away once the peel is rinsed off.

After the peel is rinsed off, a moisturizer may be applied. Depending on the strength of the peel, it may be necessary to avoid sun exposure for a few days after treatment.

There are many benefits of organic peels, including the following:

  • Improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Reducing the appearance of dark spots
  • Evening out your skin tone
  • Making your skin look and feel softer and smoother
  • Improving the health of your skin overall
